About Riva.
Riva is a team of passionate individuals committed to redefining and improving healthcare.
Enabling anyone to live healthier and longer.
Healthcare needs an upgrade.
Doctors are drowning under the avalanche of chronic disease and administrative burden. Yet the system is stuck reacting to illness rather than preventing it, with no time, tools or incentives for preventive care.
And you? You’re left to navigate the chaos.
Meanwhile, pseudo-science and pricey wellness fads take over the market—creating more confusion than real solutions, helping their profits more than your health.
We believe you—and healthcare providers—deserve better
We’re here to equip both you and your healthcare providers with the right tools to take back control of your health.
It starts with preventive check-ups that truly make a difference.
- Because your health should be in your hands—not just the system’s.
- Because prevention isn’t just a single visit each year; it’s an ongoing health journey.
- Because prevention can’t wait. It should have started yesterday.
- Because prevention is for all, for the apparently healthy person to the patient with a chronic disease.
Let’s redefine healthcare. Together.
Our Manifesto.
- Healthcare can—and must—change.
- Prevention first. Reaction second.
- Patient first. Always.
- Knowledge is power. And it belongs to all.
- Science-backed. No false promises.
- Tech is a tool. Not a threat.
- Focus on health. Not wealth.
- Assume nothing. Challenge everything.
- Our job isn’t done until healthcare is transformed.
- It won’t be easy. But we are doing it.
Our founding team.
Laura Houard
MD, PhD - Co-founder
Cardiologist with a strong academic background, having worked at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc and UZ Brussel. Driven by a deep conviction that preventive care is the future of medicine and a commitment to improving the healthcare system, she made the bold decision to leave her academic career to bring her innovative vision for healthcare to life.
“Our healthcare model is no longer sustainable for either patients or healthcare professionals, and meaningful change is overdue. Cardiovascular disease should not be the leading cause of death. Expecting the government to solve this problem simply by increasing prevention budgets is unrealistic.”
Jeremy Le Van
Co-founder
Serial tech entrepreneur who co-founded Sunrise, which was later acquired by Microsoft.
After more than 12 years in the United States, between San Francisco and New York, he returns to Europe with an ambitious vision: to transform technology into a positive force, far beyond just a convenience tool, and to have a real impact on people's lives.
“The time has come to upgrade the healthcare experience."
The values we believe in.

We refuse to settle for 'good enough.' We challenge the status quo, we push boundaries, explore new possibilities, and constantly seek innovative solutions. Our drive for excellence ensures we don't just meet expectations—we redefine them.
Transparency
Information is power, and we’re committed to sharing it openly. By making complex medical insights accessible, we give our patients the tools to confidently take control of their health.
Driven by Science
Every test, analysis, and treatment we offer is backed by solid science. No gimmicks, no shortcuts—just trusted, evidence-based medicine.
